Damien was usually very calm. He could seem cold, emotionless even. Of course that wasn’t true at all, he did have emotions, but that was just the way he acted. Usually it was, even in emergencies. There was only one exception.
A fly.
A dirty, disgusting fly.
The sound he made didn’t sound like something that should come out of a 6′4″ tall grown man, and you wouldn’t think a simple fly caused him to run so fast. He couldn’t help it, no matter how irrational of a reaction it was. That sound especially disturbed him. He couldn’t breathe, he couldn’t stay in this room. He couldn’t come back there until he knew it was gone.
She squeaked as she was practically tackled to the couch; a sometimes normal situation for these two teenagers. Seki looked up towards the male with a raised brow, her book dropping from her hands.
“Let me guess. There’s a bug in your room?” Seki asked, her eyes meeting his.
